Processing of personal data by FOTB
FOTB processes your personal data if you participate in an activity or if you are placed on the waiting list for an activity in which you would like to participate. We also process personal data of FOTB employees and of interns and volunteers affiliated with FOTB. In any case, we always do this with the utmost care and confidentiality. In addition, we have of course ensured that the correct technical and organizational measures have been taken to protect personal data.
The processing of personal data can have different purposes:
- Participant activities
When you participate in a FOTB activity, we will record some information about you. This concerns your name and age and in some cases also your full address. We only use this information for your participation and do not share it with third parties.
For quality control purposes, we periodically assess customer files to check whether our employees work according to the agreements. We do not look at the contents of the file, but at the structure and method of registration. In addition, customer files are viewed by our certification body to obtain an ISO certificate. They sign a confidentiality statement for this;
- Waiting list
If you would like to participate in an activity for which there is unfortunately no room at that time, we will put you on a waiting list. For this purpose, we record your name and contact details such as a telephone number and/or an e-mail address. We only use this information to contact you at a later time. We also do not share this data with third parties;
- Interns and volunteers
If you are affiliated with FOTB as an intern or volunteer, we process your personal data because of the work you perform for FOTB. You also sign an agreement for this. More information about this can be found in FOTB's privacy policy. Naturally, we do not share this information with third parties without your knowledge.
Retention period
We comply with legal retention periods for all data we collect about you. This means that we do not store your data for longer than legally permitted.
Providing your data to third parties
We do not provide participant data to third parties.
If you are affiliated with FOTB as an employee, intern or volunteer, we will not provide your data to third parties without your knowledge.
Transfer of your data abroad
FOTB does not work with parties located outside the Netherlands.
Your rights
You have various rights regarding the personal data that FOTB processes about you:
o Right of access;
o Right to rectification and addition;
o Right to object;
o Right to limit processing; o Right to data portability.

We will process any requests as soon as possible and no later than within 1 month. If a question takes more time due to its complexity, we will inform you about this within 1 month.
When exercising your rights, we will always ask you to identify yourself. We do this to prevent us from providing your data to third parties.
Security of your personal data
By taking technical and organizational measures, FOTB ensures proper security of your personal data, so that loss or incorrect processing of your data can be prevented.
